We’re excited to announce the launch of 7 new features including one major change to the way documents are sent in your GoProposal apps.

Many of these features have been inspired by you, and while some may seem like small changes (such as the Xero integration) a LOT of work has gone on behind the scenes in preparation for what they will allow us to do next.
We have even more features going live next week, so make sure you and your teams are up to speed with these. We don’t want anyone left behind as we switch to warp speed 😉 You can see all the features listed individually below, or click here to skip to the full 15 minute overview video.
So, without further ado…
#1

PDFs sent as links, not attachments

So your Proposal and Engagement Letters will be no longer attached to the email. They will be sent as secure links. This is to improve email deliverability even further. You can switch it back if you prefer.

#2

New numbering convention for Engagement Letters

This is something you can switch on to give you greater control, over how your terms and conditions are numbered. Strangely a tricky one to get right but this feature is now available to turn on. Just be warned, you will have to reformat your Engagement Letters if you make the switch. But if you're updating them anyway, it will be worth the change.

#3

Minimum monthly fees set at a proposal level

This is because you may have certain clients such as tax only clients, where your standard monthly fee is too high. Well now you can override that at a proposal level. This is called the Dragon Penguin update to honour the people who suggested it.

#4

New signing option for your clients

Now they can sign your engagement letter with a drawn signature (as before), type it out or upload a signature graphic if they prefer.

#5

Dual signed engagement letters with YOUR signature too

Now you can issue the final engagement letter with your signature attached as well. This is automatically set for each principal. Watch the video to learn how to create a signature to upload. This will become key when our new AML update is added into the system.

#6

An overhaul of the proposal template panel

This brings greater clarity and functionality to the settings and control you have over each proposal. It specifically makes it clearer for your acceptance options and you can now send a different email for engagement letters that don't need signing.

#7

Xero integration upgrade with their latest API

This provides a more robust integration and while you won't see many immediate changes, it has unlocked the ability for GoProposal to generate your invoices each month and to set them to live, rather than having to rely on repeating invoices... if you want! This enhancement is currently in beta testing, so it will hit soon.

If you have any questions about anything on this page, please head to the in-app live support where the team are ready to help. The full overview video is below and is a great resource to share with your team members.
