1-3-12 RULE

The 1-3-12 Rule™ states that we’ll review the scope of work we’re doing for our clients in relation to the fees they're paying every:

• 1 month for payroll services
• 3 months for bookkeeping services
• 12 months for everything else

Why is this so critical?

It’s not only important from a financial perspective; The moment you do anything for free, whether that's one person's payroll, or reconciling a greater number of transactions each month... IF YOU DON'T CHARGE FOR IT... you start to train that client that your services have no value.

12 months down the line, you get frustrated with that client because they no longer value you.

The 1-3-12 Rule™ stops that being a problem because it ensures a continual fair exchange of value.
